Australian tchotchkes and brews give this quintessentially American restaurant a distinctive Down Under flavor.. In Short
Boomerangs, Aussie flags, kangaroo portraits and faux aboriginal art honor the homeland's wilderness, but Outback delivers a polished version of rusticity with varnished blond-wood booths with matching wainscoting and casually uniformed waitstaff. Cook didn't cook it.. When this place first opened it took us an hour to get a table. Then the steak came out cooked on one side only. 2nd time they lost part of the order. However since then I have enjoyed it except for the waiting on a table.
