It's the Cheers of Homewood a great neighborhood bar. You can always go in by yourself and you will always find lot's of friendly people to talk to. It's Cheers of Homewood. It is a great place to hang out and eat really good homemade food. It's not the frozen food you would get at any big chain restaurant. They have an amazing LUNCH too. Hamburger Steak, with fried green tomatoes, green beans. Lot's of regulars come to an early lunch so they won't miss out on the daily lunch specials. I heard the Chicken Pot pie and the fried chicken with gravy were big sellers and the meatloaf on fridays. You must come early before they sell out. Service is great! They will always make sure your drink is full and you can always get a to go cup. It's a very genuine place to go. Great for Lunch and also happy hour with free popcorn and Happy hour prices. Oh they have the best food!! Must try there cheese dip and the burgers!! BEST IN TOWN......

It's ok, I guess.... There are always a lot of pretty people there, so from that standpoint, it's an ok spot. The service sucks once they get busy, so I suggest drinking a sipping drink, like scotch or something. Also, get in line for another one when yours is half finished. The timing should be about right. Seriously, only a slight exaggeration.

If they have music, it's usually too loud... to the point that you can't have a conversation, unless you're on the teeny tiny porch outside, but that thing gets packed quick.

Honestly, just too many pretentious people go there for it to be worth it for me.

Don't waste your time. Bad Service - aweful food - rude staff. The waiter looked like he was going to beat us up any minute and seemed to genuinely get mad when we ask for another beer. When he brought us the check he never came back. We sat there 15 minutes so I took the check to the bar to get checkd out - the waiter came out of the kitchen and scolded me for standing at the bar by the register. I do not suggest this place. Beer was hot. Place was unswept and dirty. Can't say anything good about it.
