I recently came across an add from Artistic Solar Films as a "winter special - 50% off film* - of course you know there will be a star by it stating stipulations). The film the special is on is "Stainless Steel 50 or 35". This is just that, a stainless steel film, and is nothing but mirrored tint. You might as well put aluminum foil on your windows. Hook and Catch, - get you in the shop thinking you're getting 50% off film, but they are only offering 50% off stainless steel film which no one buys. Really??? When was the last time you saw a car with mirror (high reflective) tint? But you're in the shop realizing the tint with the 50% off is the LAST film you would choose for your vehicle, therefore you're offered something else which is more expensive and there is no discount or coupon, which is a "hook and catch", but only a catch if you fall for it. Read their previous reviews. I've been there - and have not been a satisfied customer.

Disappointed

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANY TINTING WORK. I have had multiple cars up to their shop in the last several months. They have done poor quality work. Tint was installed over dirt and debris, vinyl stripping was not installed correctly and I was not given a refund as requested. I was told that they would "correct" the mistakes. The "correction" wasn't much of an improvement over the original work. THEIR POLICY IS NOT TO PROVIDE A REFUND even if multiple attempts have been make to correct the work and it can't be corrected. Tom is the owner and is quite the smooth talker but has horrible customer service follow up. SPEND YOUR MONEY WITH A QUALITY TINT INSTALLER and leave these un-professionals to another customer.

Poor Quality Work

I recently had my mini cooper tinted here, as it was recommended by friends. I checked out their jobs and they looked good. They obviously have someone inexperienced doing their work now though. They failed to remove all the glue from the strip job and retint they did the first time so they redid my car. Now after the redo one window is peeling. On further inspection there are numerous tiny dots under all my windows. This was a question i asked about and was assured that it would not happen. When i asked them to redo it the manager told me that sometimes it just happens. On the rear window there are visible pieces of dirt between the tint and the window. I will be going by there tomorrow to get them to redo it, or to refund my money.
