usually a great place to dine but this past sunday was very disappointed with the food we ordered 3 crab daddy feast with garlic and herb and we got the garlic and lots of it but no herb(seasoning on the food) at 100 dollars you think we could get it right ... asked the waitress about this and was offered some seasoning but its not the same just putting it on top then was given a random excuse and was told the seasoning in the pot was at the bottom. i have ordered here twice a month and have never had no seasoning on the food ... the manager tried to take the food back to fix it but what was there to fix according to them it was right so i did not allow them to take the food back was also told they would not charge me but i paid for the food anyway did not want anything for free just wanted them to fess up that they forgot to put seasoning in all 3 pots , the food was still good just really missed the herbs and such but after this going to cut back from joes i dont like being lied to just wanted a honest answer. ;management was a little snippy cause in called them out on there mistake ...you get a feeling there that they think they do no wrong and thats not acceptable to me as we all can mess up but to have the character to admit is the key to good relations. this is my 2 cents i am not quitting joes because of a food error but because of the lack of honesty
A Great dining experience.
Joe’s Crab Shack, Commercials got to me so we drove 80 miles to the Birmingham restaurant was greeted by the General Manager and I asked him if it was going to be as good as the commercials and he assured me I wouldn’t be disappointed. And if I was to let him know.
Believe me the food was wonderful and the staff was top notch and it even came with entertainment and group participation. Top that off with pricing that was as good as the food. A Great dining experience.
A colorful seafood restaurant for kids of all ages--especially the younger ones..
In Short
Admittedly kitschy, unavoidably noisy, this Red Lobster for rug rats is like an oversized seaside shanty awash in oceanic memorabilia--fishing nets, souvenir trinkets, plastic flotsam and jetsam. Staffed with a lively crew of G-rated table-dancing servers, the family-friendly chain anchors its menu in all things crab: Crab balls, crab cakes, crab dip, crab gumbo. Finicky children opt for corndogs or hamburgers; shellfish-phobic adults dine on rib eye steak or mesquite-grilled chicken.
The Shack. This place was awesome. Food was great. So were the prices. But neways if you get a chance to go I definately would.
