Birmingham's best kept secret. Close quarter dining present an opportunity to converse with neighbors and new-found friends. This is THE place to experience southern culture and hospitality at its finest

Locally grown vegetables, some meats, and the freshest of fish. Garden area behind the restaurant was a great idea and use of space, plus the useful herbs and even a laurel bay tree.

Well-rounded staff, diverse wine and cocktail selections, incredible flavors of the season. Thank you for sourcing so much from up-and-coming farmers and promoting a healthier lifestyle.

Read a mixture of reviews, some good and some not-so flattering, and only have praise for the people behind Little Savannah.

Smoked Duck. The food and service were superb. Emily was our server and was extremely attentive & informative. Supporting local farms and businesses is what it is all about!

I enjoyed the smoked duck and what a spectacular flavor. My wife had the scallops-we had to switch plates midway through dinner. Nice wine selection and cocktail list: I like the country club to biker bar idea.

Definitely a gem. I have made reservations for 2 weeks away when I return!

Top Spot!. Wonderful atmosphere to dine in: reminds me of a small Parisian Brasserie that serves up some of the finest local cuisine. We enjoyed the BEST gulf oysters and crab claws, smoked duck, scallops, and a spectacular apple crisp. Apparently almost all of their produce is from local farmers, one of which we met while waiting at the bar-he was proud to have is produce on the menu!

I dine out almost every night and must say that in all of my traveling, this is among the best I have experienced.

What an awsome little place. Originally from Bham, I was recently passing through and looking for a nice place to dine. One of the first restaurants to pop up in a web search was Little Savannah. The place seemed really cool so I went to give it a try. What a unique restaurant! I was shocked to find such an amazing place. Birmingham has really prospered since I left 20 years ago. I am a working Chef (not just an attendee of a culinary school that thinks he has earned the title "Chef") who has worked with many renowned chefs both abroad and domestic. This place could use a little front-house assistance, but upon touring the kitchen and meeting the chef, I understand their approach as unpretentious in service and cuisine. The delicate menu items are sourced from as many local producers as possible: "If it isn't grown by someone I know, I would rather not use it-it is personal to me." Quoting the chef, I look forward to using his qoute in the future. Chef Clif even offered to take me to visit some of these local farmers the next morning. Sadly I was leaving too early the next day, but will take a raincheck as soon as possible.

Very Overated. We went here to eat with my daughter and her boyfriend who are both chefs and needless to say we were very disappointed. This by far was some of the worst food I have eaten in Birmingham. At about $50.00 a plate I could have had a better meal for $5.00 at McDonalds. The service was great just terrible food.

My Favorite Restaurant. Little Savannah is a local restaurant with a lot of flair. An intimate enviroment that serves fresh and fabulous cuisine. Everyone who works there is pleasant and friendly, and on most nights you'll even get to meet the owner and head chef. This is my favorite restaurant in town over many greats such as Bottega, Highlands, Hot and Hot, Prarie Fire. Little Savannah is perfect for the romantic evening out or great for small parties. On thursdays, they even offer wine tastings.
