Love this place!. Every time that I've been here, the food and staff have ben great. They have great specials, atmosphere, and wine. I love the lasagna--it's my favorite.

Make sure to make reservations in advance, because it's small and they book up fast!

Gianmarco: A Birmingham Gem for Italian Food Lovers. Gianmarco is one of Birmingham's finest restaurants and features a wide variety of Italian dishes. Easily, top 5 in my opinion - and that is a big statement considering the competition in Birmingham. Business casual attire is fine although many are seen in more formal attire. The menu is quite varied and there is absolutely something for everyone. I personally can't seem to get past the veal dishes but the seafood is wonderful, as are the appetizers. Do yourself a big favor and try the crab cakes. The bar in the front of Gianmarco is a favorite of locals and the wine selection will suite even the most picky aficionados. As with most top restaurants it is highly advisable to get your reservation well ahead of time - up to a week. Gianmarco is filled with highly experienced waiters and waitresses that are sure to steer you to a dish that matches your preference. Five Stars for Gianmarco which puts them in some rare company in Birmingham.

Best Restaurant Find in B'ham. Between its genuine Italian food and the fresh fish and meat with unusual flare, there is something on the menu for everyone. This is a neighborhood restaurant with great ambiance and superb service. The prices are reasonable with dinner entrees ranging from $13 to $30 and the wine list is expansive. Due to the personal attention, reservations are recommended but not required.
