My girls love coming to gymnastics here. We just tried the last Flipping Fun Friday (not sure if that is the right name) night and they had a blast. Sweet staff and easy to get to off the interstate.
Not a favorite!.
We too have tried this location more than once. While I can say that we have had ONE super teacher, all of the others have been too young and completely unqualified to teach gymnastics. They call out tasks from a list on a clipboard. There is no real "teaching" involved. In addition, several of the older staff members seem very unfriendly. Definitely not what you expect from people who choose to work with children.
I understand that there is a new manager and that there are some changes being made. If that's true, we might try again. Hopefully, for the community, there will be drastic improvements.
You obviously don't know what you're talking about.
Both of my kids have gone through the Mountain Brook Gymnastics program.
One of them has made it to the competitive team already, and coach Phillip does a GREAT job making the team environment both fun and challenging.
Our other child is in classes, and couldn't be happier.
It is a very professionally run program, and there isn't anything about it that I can find fault with.
Zero stars. If I could give zero stars, I would. Terribly unorganized.Staffing qualifications seemed a bit questionabe. Gave it several tries (differnt sessions with differnt age children) to make sure it was not an isolated incident - always the same. It is too bad, I like to support local, but cannot in this area. Wish it was not called "Mountain Brook" gymnastics - not living up to the standards.
