Love this spa!!!. I have been looking for a new stylist in town so i chose to try aura! The girl that did my hair was amazing! All the ladies there were very helpful when it came to finding what product was right for me! The also took very good care of me asking if i needed anything or if i was good on my drink! i will def. be going back again soon to try out the spa!

New to B'ham and found a great new place!. I am new to town and recently moved to Inverness. I was looking for a place to go for my hair, but also to get some spa services for my wife. Aura was right there on 280, so I checked it out and could not have been more pleased. I got a great hair cut from a very sweet young lady (Carly?) and I picked up a pedicure and massage package for my wife that was so much less expensive than what I was used to back in Atlanta that I was pleasantly surprised. Anyway, my wife cashed in her gift a few days later and could not stop raving about the service when she got home. Anyway, thanks Aura!

Agree with my friend!!. like Ashley- My dealings with the staff here have always been wonderful! The receptionists there and the rest of the staff have always been extremely acccomodating.

So disappointed. I have been looking for a new salon and was excited to get a manicure and a new hairstyle. I decided to try Aura and was happy to get in the same day. Unfortunately the manicure was subpar. And the hair stylist would not listen at all to what I wanted to do with my hair, and would only trim the style I already had. But truly the worst part was the fact that the staff were so busy fighting with each other and yelling at each other that it was terribly uncomfortable. I was stunned by how unproffessional these women were. I will be searching for a new salon!

Pretty Terrible Experience. I just had my first experience at Aura. I was given a mani/pedi as a gift, and when I asked to upgrade to a shellac, they told me they had time to fit that in. The girl who did my nails obviously disagreed, and repeatedly sighed and looked at her watch and made comments to other employees about how she was not going to get lunch. They sent another employee over to help speed things up, so I ended up with both arms twisted off to one side while they worked on my hands and feet at the same time, and the one employee was still complaining. The one working on my hands reached across me for the acetone and squirted it onto my clothes. Although they were meant to be the same color, my fingernails and toenails ended up two different colors, which the employees noticed and commented on, but did nothing to fix. My fingernails ended up bumpy, uneven, and with a number of spots left altogether unpainted. I was excited to try the salon, but the experience was a huge disappointment.

Best deal in town for a deep tissue massage!!!. I have been looking for a good massage therapist ever since I moved here from California, and have finally found one! Lots of places tell you their therapists are good at getting the knots out, but never can give me enough presssure to get relief from my pain. She definitely made my neck and shoulders feel much better in just one session.

Awesome experience. This was my first experience with a spa/salon. I went for a massage and a spa pedicure for my Birthday and it was a very relaxing atmosphere. The ladies were very friendly and most important is it was very clean. I ended up getting my hair cut and styled also. Great experience and I will return for future pampering.
