The theater clarity is amazing but it is fairly small for the high traffic area that it is in. I saw batman opening weekend and they had a 5 minute grace period in between each showing. Obviously they choose greed over cutomer experience. The movie started 45 minutes late on a saturday afternoon and they skipped over the previews and I live for previews! I have seen many top blockbusters on opening weekends and I have never experienced anything so crappy and obviously poorly run. Yes they had a showing going on every 15 minutes but you had to wait like 15 minutes in line inside the bldg for them to try an clean real qucik then 30 mnutes of just sitting in there for what ever reason. That theater is poorly run by managment!

I went last week to see blindness a movie that is not popular and for no reason at all the movie started 20 minutes late. I HAVE never been to a theater in which the movie started late!

Really great

i went to see the premeire of eagle eye and the movie theater was very clean the popcorn was outstanding and people came in from all over to check on the patronage of everyone it will not be the last time i go

The only good thing about my experience at the Summit theatre was the movie selection. The actual movie however, started 20 minutes late and only after someone from the audience brought it to the attention of the staff that it had not started on time. No one checked the theatre during the movie, you know the usual walk through of one of the employees, and the womens restroom was so nasty that it smelled of urine and had obviously not been cleaned in quite some time. I think they could do a better job.

Easy to get to, fun for the kids, i like the options,

i grew up there was 1 movie option. i shop the patton while the kids watch their movie

This was my first visit to this theatre and I was extremely disappointed. There were many teenagers present (movie was 16 Blocks) at this evening showing and they talked loudly during the beginning of the movie. I was there to see the movie...not to hear them talking or yelling to each other. No one from the theatre ever came in to check on the patronage. Thankfully, they finally settled down and were mostly quiet for the balance of the movie.

• Cons: Noise from patrons

Great Theater

The Summit Theater is very clean, has state of the art theaters and sound, and has the newest movies the day they came out. Plus, the theater is right in the middle of The Summit, a major shopping center in Birmingham, so you can "watch'n'shop."

• Pros: Clean, Safe Area of Town, Good Refreshments
• Cons: Crowded Parking
