Outback Steakhouse by Jessica J. at InsiderPages

I was slightly disappointed in the service we had recently. We had a kind waitress, but she was a bit disctracted. The food was great but a bit on the expensive side. The fact that kids do not eat free keeps us from eating there very often. We do love the bloomin' onion though.
Australian tchotchkes and brews give this quintessentially American restaurant a distinctive Down Under flavor.

In Short
Boomerangs, Aussie flags, kangaroo portraits and faux aboriginal art honor the homeland's wilderness, but Outback delivers a polished version of rusticity with varnished blond-wood booths with matching wainscoting and casually uniformed waitstaff. Besides more than a half-dozen cuts of steak, diners can pick from large-portioned entrees like ribs, chops and shrimp or chicken "on the barbie." The Bloomin' Onion, a large onion dipped in batter and deep-fried, is an appetizer with a following.
Cook didn't cook it.

When this place first opened it took us an hour to get a table. Then the steak came out cooked on one side only. 2nd time they lost part of the order. However since then I have enjoyed it except for the waiting on a table.
- Pros: Waiters
- Cons: time wasted
