I attended the closing ceremony at Westend High School Saturday. There is a lot of history there. It was refreshing to see all alumni (black and White). I really wish the school wasn't closing at all. West End High School graduated its fair share of doctors, lawyers, attorneys and nurses. If someone honestly wanted a quality education, it could be achieved at West End High School. I am saddened that this school is closing. It will always be apart of the community and a part of my Life. Ty Russell
