Dr. Adkison is by far the best doctor in the state of Alabama or anywhere in the country to see for knee and shoulder problems. I had a total knee replace in may of '05 and within 2 weeks I was back at work selling real estate. His staff is a joy to work with from Mary, who makes the appointment, to Tammie, who will schedule the surgery. I never feel rushed when I go to see him and to talk with him is like talking to an old friend who actually know and cares for you. It may be selfish to say but I hope he NEVER retires because there will be nobody that will be able to fill his shoes!

Dr. A. is incredible. I started seeing him when he first came back to Alabama. He has repaired my knee, also my teenage son's, total knee replacement for my father, my mother-in-law, my daughter, and my husband's shoulder. He is the best that there is. Wonderful kind personality with a sweet spirit. He is a blessing and St. Vincent's is fortunate to have him.

excellent knee and shoulder surgeon. He operated on Pres Clinton when he was in White House. Have had to excellent ACl repairs with him and my husband had rotat cuff repair. One of the best and well kept secret.
