Not so great

by sweetlikesalt at Citysearch

Good service, however EXTREMELY overpriced! 34$ for 5 scallops??? 38$ for just the filet?? those prices do not include sides. Definitely not worth it. The food was ok, but nothing I couldn't cook better at home.

Prime beef, a comfortable atmosphere and an extensive, user-friendly wine list are the signatures of this upscale steakhouse.

In Short
With a decor of dark wood, leather upholstery and soft lighting, this clubby steakhouse has a warm, upscale feel. The menu's focus is prime beef (aged up to four weeks), from bone-in rib eye and filet mignon to New York strip drizzled with bearnaise sauce. Classic seafood offerings include lobster tails, steamed crab legs and wild Alaskan salmon; sides, served a la carte, include baked potato and chipotle mac and cheese.

Food ok, service horrible

by dbriscoe2006 at Citysearch

I came alone and sat at the bar next to an interesting couple. The food was a la carte, portions are huge, and a little over priced. The service at the bar was slow. Several times I had to damn near stare at the bartender and wave my arms to place my order and get an more water (to go along with my wine). I will not be back.

WOW!

by johnnybahama at Citysearch

I've eaten here numerous times and always had a great experience. The steaks are huge-the best I have ever had, and I have eaten at many steakhouses across the country. Awesome wine list-something like 100 different wines available by the glass. Side items and salads should be shared. Don't miss the chocolate lava cake! This place is always crowded so make a reservation.

  • Pros: large portions, great steaks, incredible wine list
  • Cons: crowded, pricey, but worth it!

Disappointed

by tgshafer at Citysearch

Service was excellent, wine service was great. Yummy bread with lots of butter. Oustanding salads. Cocktails were pretty good. Chocolate lava cake was awsome.

Entrees: Steaks, tasty and tender. Scallops yummy but very undersized. Lamb chops weren't chops at all, they were pieces of a rack of lamb. Meat was very good when I could find it.

Given the portion sizes, horribly noisy atmosphere and extra charges for salads and sides, way overpriced.

I won't go back.

  • Pros: Great Steaks, Great service, Great Salads
  • Cons: Miniscule portions, Noisy, Over priced
